 Equilibrium Equilibrium and Balance

A balance exists in equilibrium when no net force acts upon it.  And equilibrium means an equal balance and scale.  And what belongs to the Lord, is a just balance and scales.   But man has fornicated  with  the balance and weighed down the scale with inequities. But the third seal has been opened so that the false scales and weights can be balanced.

A balance exists in equilibrium when no net force is acting upon it.And that balance may have independent forces acting upon it, but the sum of those forces is equal to zero. In other words: Σ F = 0 Where Σ is the sum and F are the forces, and the sum of the forces is equal to zero. And equilibrium is derived from the Latin word quus which means " just " and libra which means " balance ". And balance is derived from the Latin word bilanx which means "scale". For "a just balance and scales belong to the LORD ; all the weights of the bag are His concern." (Proverbs 16:11) For a balance is based on the center of gravity. And the center of gravity is the point at which the balance rotates. And when analyzing the equilibrium of a balance, the torque is the force that acts upon the center of gravity. And the torque of that weight is the product of its weight (W) and its length from the center (L). Thus when a scale is in balance, the torque of its weights is equal, and the center of gravity holds a just scale in balance.
